The Lodge at Drakensberg Mountain Retreat

The Lodge consists of nine en-suite rooms offering double, triple and family-sized accommodation. Our rates vary per room based on superior and standard room type status, include breakfast and dinner, and offer guests various layout and comfort levels.

The Lodge, with numerous lounges and fireplaces, is comfortably furnished and blends rustic charm with old-fashioned elegance. These lounges, along with the dining room, enclosed verandah, indoor swimming pool, bar area with billiard table, kids play room, library room and conservatory gardens provide a variety of inspired sitting areas and generous spaces. 

In addition, guests can enjoy the 100km-long panoramic view of the Central and Northern Berg incorporating both the Amphitheatre and Royal Natal National Park, one of the very best views of the Drakensberg!

Delicious home-cooked meals are prepared with care and served by our friendly staff.  Our three-course set menu candlelit dinners are especially loved by our guests.

The Barn House at Drakensberg Mountain Retreat

This self-catering holiday home is suited for group bookings of up to 25 people. The perfect venue for a company break away, conference, retreat or getting the whole family together for some quality time.

Guests have full access to the kitchen, with stove, microwave and fridge, dining room, multiple lounge areas, conservatory garden, outdoor braai area and expansive lawns. 

Twelve guests can be accommodated in five downstairs en-suite rooms, while 13 guests have access to three upstairs dormitory styled rooms with shared showers and toilets on the ground floor.

A ping pong table, tv room and indoor pool provide guests with plenty of activities to keep them busy; while a large conference room provide ample space for business activities and meetings. 

With many outdoor adventures to be had on the property from hiking to fishing to cycling, The Barn House, offers the perfect group getaway to connect with family, friends, colleagues and nature.
